Packing Your Bouquet to
ship to

Place the bouquet in a standard refrigerator. If a
refrigerator is not available, keep the bouquet in a cool or air-conditioned
room until you are ready to ship it. refrigerating the bouquet prior to
shipping locks in coolness and moisture during shipment.
DO NOT PUT YOUR BOUQUET
IN THE FREEZER!
What you will need:
 | A box just a little larger that the actual bouquet
|
 | Packing Material-either crumpled newspaper or Styrofoam packing peanuts
|
 | Paper towels |
 | Packing tape to seal the box
|
 | a frozen coolant block You may us a commercial coolant
block
(like the ice coolants used in a cooler to keep food/drinks cold) |
Preparing To Ship:
- Ensure that the coolant block(s) is (are) frozen. This refrigerant, when
frozen will keep your flowers fresh and cool in the box during shipping to
us.
- Prepare the bouquet:
Bouquets with holders: You will need to fill the oasis foam holder
(green spongy
foam in holder in which the flowers are inserted) with cold
water. you do this by holding the bouquet under a gently running faucet for
just a few seconds. It shouldn't take much water to re-hydrate the foam.
Shake off excess water that may have dripped on the bouquet holder or the
flowers during this step.
Hand-tied Bouquets: If your bouquet is hand-tied and the stems are
not receiving
water, mist the flowers lightly with cool water (using a clean
mist bottle),

Shipping your bouquet
It is necessary for you to overnight your bouquet to us.
This priority shipping enhances
our ability to preserve the natural beauty of
the flowers in your finished keepsake. Since it is best for the flowers that we
receive them quickly after your occasion. Once you have collected your shipping
supplies and the coolant pack is frozen, you should plan to ship your bouquet.
You are welcome to ship your flowers to us using the carrier of your
choice. Make sure
the carrier of your choice guarantees delivery by 2:00 pm the
next day. We have found
that the post office is an easy and modestly-priced
option.
- Make sure your coolant is frozen and then tape it securely to the bottom
of the shipping box with packing tape.
- Next place packing peanuts or crumpled newspaper on top of coolant making
a nest for the bouquet on the bottom of the box
- Now place your bouquet in the box with the bouquet facing UPWARD. Place a
layer of paper towels on top of the bouquet and then fill the box with
remainder of packing peanuts or crumpled newspaper, making sure you fill the
sides of the box as well to stabilize the bouquet as much as possible so it
will not shift during shipment.
- Make sure that you let us know whose bouquet it is in this box! Simply
write your name, address and phone number on a piece of paper and tape it to
the inside side panel of the shipping box. If you have not already given us
the deposit required for the processing of your flowers, please send $150.00
made out to Lauri Ripaldi or include your credit card information (name on
card, card #, expiration date, your zip code, and the amount you want
charged) in an envelope, then tape that envelope inside the side of the
box as well.
- Then close the box and seal it with your packing
tape.
